Things to do in London – November 2021
One of the main reasons I love London so much is the diverse range of events we can experience throughout the year, here are my top picks for November 2021.
Go for a Walk in London
London is well known for its huge parks, small private squares, and pockets of green spaces, but have you tried experiencing them at night?
With winter meaning the nights draw in earlier, some of our favourite spaces have actually opened up for true nightlife (perhaps with a warm cup of coffee/hot chocolate in hand!)
The Enchanted Woodland at Syon Park, which invites you to follow its lit-up trail around the park across all Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in November it truly is a magical experience.
View the Fireworks in London this November
Remember, remember the 5th November, and boy will London be remembering! You can take in all the beauty of the fireworks of Guy Fawkes Night at a variety of locations across London.
For a packed night, you should head to The Fireworks Festival at Alexandra Palace on 6th November, 4pm – 10:45pm. Expect to see a fabulous Light Show, an Ice Disco, Funfair, Fire Jugglers, German Bier Fest and music alongside the incredible bonfire.
Discover These Exhibitions in London During November
If you prefer to stay inside during the winter, then don’t miss out on the incredible selection of exhibitions that London’s museums & galleries are offering in November.
Whether you take in history and head to Peru: A Journey in Time – a celebration of the 200th anniversary of the country’s independence at the British Museum from 11th November; delight at the beautiful designs at Fabergé in London: Romance to Revolution at the V&A Museum from 18th November; or walk through the highlights from Turner Prize-winning artist Lubaina Himid’s influential career at the exhibition of her works at The Tate Modern from 25th November, we are spoiled for choice.
Winter Markets in London for November
If you can’t wait until Christmas then you’ll be pleased to know London has brought back their winter markets and they are fabulous! If you want to make your own homemade gifts this year, then the Crafty Fox Market is a winner (at Downstairs at The Department Store, Brixton; and The Crossing, Kings Cross).
For a submersive experience with DJ, cocktails & food stalls, The Novikov Christmas Street Market is a must-visit – 28th – 30th November, Mayfair Place.
