The month of love is coming and if you want to spend it with your partner, friends, or solo, there’s so many things to see and do in London.

Here’s my top pick of events you will love happening in London this February.

For couples to enjoy this February in London

Let’s start with some romantic things to enjoy this February as a couple in London.

  1. Take in the beautiful Orchid Exhibition at Kew Gardens. Forget the bouquet of flowers, why not walk together through The Princess of Wales Conservatory at Kew Gardens and see the beautiful new orchid display. You’ll also get to see the ‘native animals’, carved out of plants and replicated across the horticultural displays. 4th February – 5th March 2023. General admission gives you access to the entire gardens, including the exhibit, from £16.50 per adult.
  2. Go ice skating in Canada Water. You can get your last chance to enjoy the open air ice skating rink in Canada Water before it closes for another year. Each session is 50 minutes, and if you head there on a Wednesday, you can enjoy their live music & DJ nights! Open until 25th February. Tickets are from £17.95 per adult.
  3. Watch a movie at Rivoli Ballroom. This 1950;s ballroom is hosting its very own pop-up cinema for Valentine’s Day. With romantic films including Romeo & Juliet, you’ll enjoy the gorgeous interiors over a classic film together. 13th – 14th February. Tickets from £10 per person.

Fun things to do with friends this February in London

If you’re looking for less romance and more fun, then these are some of my top picks for you to enjoy in London this February.

  1. Get to the Natural History Museum for its epic silent disco. Hosted throughout the year, these incredible silent disco nights are hosted in the gorgeous Natural History Museum under Hope, the blue whale. Pop on some headphones and dance to the music all night long. Tickets sell out fast, so get in quick! 16th February. From £30 per person (£27 for members).
  2. Get together for drinks & learn how to make some delicious cocktails at The Viktor Wynd Museum. Not only will you learn how to make your own cocktail bitters at this less well-known London museum, you’ll also get the opportunity to try absinthe & learn all about its history. 7th February. Tickets are £26.72 per person.
  3. Get your dopamine hit at Dopamine Land. This is a multi-sensory experience that combines media, technology and play in one place. It’s an interactive museum that channels the limitless imagination of your inner child into reality. Late evenings are adult-friendly, too. Tickets are £17.50 per person or get a group bundle offer for £15 per person.

Top events for solo trips to London this February

Finally, if you prefer to get into London on your own speed, these are some of my top picks for things you can enjoy on your own at your own pace.

  1. View the “Japan: Courts and Culture” exhibit at The Queen’s Gallery. This year highlights pieces from the outstanding Japanese collection to tell the story of 300 years of diplomatic, artistic and cultural exchange between the British and Japanese royal and imperial families. Items on display include samurai armour, and diplomatic gifts from Royals. Until February 26. Tickets are from £17.
  2. Get on the A-List at London Fashion Week. If you are a fashion-lover then February in London is the piece de resistance for you! Take in the amazing designs from across all the best creators in fashion. While tickets to the shows tend to be by invitation only, there are countless spin-off events, after-parties and sales to visit. 17th – 21st February.
  3. Explore how some of the best-loved musicals have been adapted, revived, and retold at the “RE:Imagining Musicals” exhibit at the Victoria & Albert Museum. Showcasing the world & history of iconic musicals, this exhibit combines fashion, history, and theatre all in one. Until 27th November 2023. FREE to attend.

Will you be attending any of these very special London Events in February? I’d love to hear any other must-sees to add to my calendar!
